University of Brighton is inviting applications International Scholarships from undergraduate students. Students studying foundation degrees or undergraduate degrees at University of Brighton partner colleges are not eligible for these scholarships. The scholarship is £3,000 off the cost of your tuition fees for each year of your course. There are four application deadlines throughout the year: 31 January, 31 March, 31 May, and 31 July 2016.

According to recent figures, the average cost per year to study in the UK at undergraduate level as an international student is UK£11,987 (~US$17,860), while for international postgraduate students this average fee rises to £12,390. At all levels, laboratory and clinical degree programs are markedly more expensive, with a clinical degree costing overseas students an average of £24,206 ($36,070) at undergraduate level, with top universities in London charging as much as £34,800 ($51,850). Combine these fees with the average cost of living in the UK, around £12,000 ($17,850), and the total average costs to study in the UK come up to £24,000 ($35,710) per year.

University of Bristol is offering five international office scholarships for 2016-entry. These scholarships are available for pursuing full-time undergraduate programme. Applicants may be from any discipline. Current University of Bristol students are not eligible to apply. The scholarships of £8,500 each will be available and divided as follows: £3,000 in Year One, £3,000 in Year Two and £2,500 in Year Three. The deadline for receipt of applications is 10th June, 2016.
